Obituary
Twiana "Tai" Kishefsky, 52, passed away on Saturday, January 28, 2023, at her home in East Jordan, surrounded by her loving family.
She was born on June 29, 1970, in Grand Marais, Minnesota, the daughter of Larry and Frances (McLean) Dixson. Her parents moved to Gaylord, Michigan, early in her life. She graduated from Gaylord High School in 1988.
On January 15, 1994, she married Joe Kishefsky in East Jordan.
Tai always loved being a “mom”. She enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren who she loved photographing.
She is survived by her husband of 29 years, Joe Kishefsky; four children, Seth (Bailey) Kishefsky, Allen (Misti) Fowler, Megan (Josh) Mosley and Adam (Laura) Fowler; seven grandchildren, Josie Mosley, Lilee Mosley, Judah Fowler, Noah Fowler, Ruth Kishefsky, Abe Kishefsky and Teddy Kishefsky; and one brother, Larry Dixson. She was preceded in death by her parents.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Wednesday, February 1, 2023, at 1:00 P.M. at the Center Point Assembly of God Church, 5291 M-66 Highway, Charlevoix, Michigan.
Arrangements were handled by the Penzien Funeral Homes, Inc., East Jordan.
