William “Bill” Yarbrough, 76, of Boyne Falls and formerly of East Jordan, died Tuesday, November 16, 2021, in Petoskey.
He was born on March 6, 1945, in Red Bay Alabama, the son of Jesse and Mildred (Vinson) Yarbrough.
Bill served as in the military police in the United State Army. He later drove truck for the East Jordan Iron Works, now known as “EJ, USA”.
He married Carmille Wojceichowski on April 15, 1972 in Northville, Michigan.
Bill was an active member of the Lighthouse Missionary Church in East Jordan who served as an Elder for a number of years as well as an overseer of the Men’s breakfast. He was also passionate about the Keryx Prison ministry and Emmaus Walk three day short courses in Christianity.
He is survived by his wife, Camille Yarbrough of Boyne Falls; one son, Scott Yarbrough of Boyne Falls; and one granddaughter, Katie Yarbrough of Boyne Falls. He was preceded in death by his parents;
A memorial service will be announced after the first of the year. Memorial contributions may be directed to donor’s choice. The family was served by the Penzien Funeral Homes, Inc., East Jordan, Michigan.
